Ilocos N. launches 1st tourism awards

LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte — Ilocos Norte Tourism Office (INTO), in cooperation with the Association of Tourism Officers of Ilocos Norte (ATOIN), has launched the First Provincial Tourism Awards. “This is our way of recognizing our partners in the tourism industry who are real pioneers and who have been really helpful in our tourism projects,” said Provincial Tourism Officer Aian B. Raquel as he lauded the support of Ilocos Norte Governor Imee R. Marcos for local tourism. Industry leaders, pioneering projects, agri-tourism, eco-tourism, and marketing and product development awards will be given as part of the Ilocos Norte Tourism Gala at the Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel on November 30.
