CAMP GEN. PANTALEON GARCIA, Imus, Cavite – Four suspected drug pushers and one motorcycle thief were killed by police in encounters in Cavite province in 24 hours, from Friday to Saturday (November 9-10).

The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) reported that all the suspects killed in the shootouts in Imus City and the municipalities of Tanza, General Mariano Alvarez (GMA) and Kawit have resisted arrest.

The first fatality was an unidentified man who traded shots with a police team in Barangay Buhay Na Tubig in Imus after he forcibly took a Mio Soul motorcycle from a driver and a back rider at 3:15 a.m. Friday. The police were forced to shoot the suspect after he fired his gun at police.

Meanwhile, police identified the four drug suspects killed as Roberto Gabuna Glori, alias, 43, a resident of Block 11-Lot 5 Barangay San Jose, GMA; Rodelito Pelayo and Artjule Sarinas, of Barangays Tabon I and Gahak, Kawit; and Marjun Martinez, of Barangay Paradahan I, Tanza.

Pelayo and Sarinas’ companion, one Joey Komang, reportedly eluded arrest.

All the suspects have died after they fought with their guns the police in buy-bust operations at nighttime in the areas.
