Olongapo pusher falls

OLONGAPO CITY – Olongapo City’s most wanted drug pusher was arrested along with his cohort following an anti-illegal drugs operation on Thursday.

Florencio Miclat Jr., 56, was arrested the operatives of the Olongapo City police station 1 in Barangay Bajac-Bajac together with Ronnie Cubilla, 40, of of Taytay, Rizal.

Seized from the duo were 24 sachets of shabu weighing around 400 grams and worth an estimated R560,000 a pickup truck and marked money worth R7,000.

Miclat and Cubilla will be charged with violation of Sec. 5 and 11 of RA 9165.

“We are continuing our unwavering efforts to eradicate all forms of illegal drugs in the region and we will keep on hunting down all those who are involved in the proliferat­ion of illegal drugs, we will not stop until we have arrested them and put them to jail,” said Central Luzon regional police director Chief Supt Joel Napoleon Coronel.
