42 BIR officials reshuffled to meet 12.6-trillion collection target

Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner Caesar R. Dulay continued to reshuffle 42 key field officials mostly revenue district officers (RDOs) in a bid to meet the agency’s collection target of 12.6 trillion

for 2019.

The changes followed last week's transfer of 11 regional directors based in Metro Manila and outside the metropolis.

The RDOs who were given new assignments were Renato Mina who was transferred from Angeles City to Pasay City; Honorata Aguilar from Pasay to Sta. Cruz. Manila; Melanie Soriano from Sta. Cruz to project management and implementation service; Vicente Gamad Jr., from South Manila to Cainta/Taytay; Rey Anthony Geli from Cainta-Taytay to Angeles City.

Vicky Reinante from South Makati to South Manila; Claire Corpus from Sta. Maria, Bulacan to South Makati; Thelma Mangio from San Juan City to Sta. Maria, Bulacan; Bethsheba Bautista from Binondo, Manila to San Juan City; Antonio Ilagan from Calamba City to Binan City; Emir Abutazil from North Cebu City to Calamba City.

Trinidad Villamil from Vigan City to North Cebu City; Ramer Narvaez from Binan City to Binondo; Eralen De Aro from Antique to Aklan; Marilou Nebit from assistant RDO to RDO of Antique; Leticia Arabit from Naga City to Novaliches, Quezon City; Reymarie Dela Cruz from chief information service to RDO Cabarroguis, Quirino.

Jose Edimar Jaen from Cagayan de Oro City to West Davao City; Mary Ann Cervantes from West Davao City to East Davao City; Rodrigo Rivamonte from East Davao City to General Santos City; Maria Socorro Lozano from General Santos City to Cagayan de Oro City; Zhatra Urin from assistant RDO to RDO of Jolo, Sulo.

Dulay also reshuffled at least eight audit division chiefs of the Large Taxpayers Service (LTS) which collects roughly 65 to 70 percent of the annual total collection of the BIR.

Eight other assistant RDOs in the provinces of Batangas, Mindoro, Cebu, Iloilo and La Union were also given travel assignment orders.
