LizQuen reunites in movie being helmed by Antoinette Jadaone

- By STEPHANIE MARIE BERNARDINO

Love team partners Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil will reunite in “Alone/Together,” their first movie since “My Ex And Whys” in 2017 while marking a maiden collaboration with director Antoinette Jadaone.

Antoinette’s post showed a photo of the lead actors in character and shot at the University of the Philippines (UP) Sunken Garden.

It came with a poem that read: “Traydor ang mga alaala.

The movie is co-produced by Black Sheep with Antoinette and her boyfriend Dan Villegas’ Project 8 cor. San Joaquin Projects. “Alone/Together” is set to open in cinemas first quarter of 2019.

Antoinette on her blog site, www.

ilayailawa.wordpress.com, shared some of her experiences shooting the film.

The first post was on Nov. 5 that was titled “An ode to compromised dreams Pt. 1.” According to her, it is the day she met her director of photography (DOP), Neil Daza, for the new film.

“He’s a master DOP – someone I’ve always wanted to work with.

I-shoot na natin ’to. Ready na ako kahit hindi pa. I’ve missed this kind of high.” Two days after, she posted another message that revealed she met an Art Studies fresh grad from UP Diliman.

At shet, mahal ko talaga ang UP,” the post read.

On Nov. 13, she posted being happy about the progress of her project. She even attached a photo of the script with a caption that read: “Pinakamabilis kong sulat evahh haha so help me God.”

On Dec. 1, an additional post in relation to part three was uploaded under the title: “An ode to compromised dreams Pt. 3: Honor and excellence.”

“Alone/Together” is about two people who cross paths again eight years after they first met in college. Liza who plays Tin is an over-achiever who graduated magna cum laude from the BA Art Studies program of UP Diliman, and aspires to become a museum director at renowned attractions like The Met and The Louvre. On the other hand, Enrique’s Raf is someone who always fails in school.

Antoinette’s hit projects in the past were “That Thing Called Tadhana,” “Love You To The Stars And Back,” and “Never Not Love You,” to name a few.
