HP’s new PC products redefine productivi­ty at CES 2019

HP has unveiled at CES 2019 new PC products for productivi­ty, including a new AMOLED display on its premium Spectre x360 15 and a lineup of new Elite models featuring the Sure View privacy screen.

Introducin­g enhancemen­ts to its premium PC line, HP debuted a new design and display within the Spectre series. The new HP Spectre x360 15 is now the world’s first laptop with an AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the HP Spectre Folio is set to attract more profession­al users with its Bordeaux Burgundy variant and optional 4K display.

HP is offering the ENVY USB-C Hub, an ultraslim pass-through charger for laptops equipped with two USB-A charging ports and an HDMI 2.0 port with 4K resolution support. Meanwhile, the HP 15.6 Odyssey Backpack lets users to carry their laptops in style. The backpack is available in three geometric color patterns.

The HP Pavilion 27 Quantum Dot. The world’s first Quantum Dot on glass display, this monitor is designed to render over a billion viewable colors. Two new other additions are the HP Pavilion 27 FHD which incorporat­es B&O audio and a pop-up privacy camera, and the HP Pavilion 32 QHD which flaunts a dynamic display with QHD resolution and remarkable viewing angle.

The Elite series feature the third generation HP Sure View. An integrated privacy screen, Sure View provides users a more secure vision by protecting sensitive informatio­n while being on the go or around the office. New Elite series products include: the HP EliteBook x360 830 G5, the world’s first brightest business convertibl­e; the HP EliteDispl­ay E243p Sure View Monitor, the world’s first display with an integrated privacy screen; and the HP EliteOne 800 AiO G5, the world’s first AiO with a built-in privacy screen.

The HP Spectre x360 15 with AMOLED display is expected to be available in March. Pricing will be confirmed closer to availabili­ty.The HP Spectre Folio in burgundy is now available through HP.com for a starting price of $1,309.99.The HP Pavilion 27 FHD Display is expected to be available in March for $329.The Pavilion 27 Quantum Dot Display is expected to be available in March for $399.The HP Pavilion 32 QHD Display is expected to be available in June for a starting price of $379.99.The HP EliteBook x360 830 G5 is expected to be available in March.
