Style, sophistication, and efficiency
The all-new Hyundai Accent
These days, with prices fluctuating wildly on a weekly basis, it pays to have a fuel efficient car to dampen the effects fuel prices increases. Yet in this country, fuel efficient cars aren’t always the most comfortable or rewarding to drive. There’s no need to choose one desirable quality over another, because with the all-new Hyundai Accent 1.6 CRDi, you can have both.
The Hyundai Accent makes for a perfect daily driver. It’s offered right under the Elantra, being slimmer and smaller than the average sedan.
This 2019 model has a more striking exterior, carrying over some of the styling cues from the Elantra. It makes an entrance with a signature cascading grille with sweeping headlights on either side. Over on the side, its profile is also sportier, thanks to a sloping roofline. The top-of-the-line model rides on 15-inch wheels with caps. Behind are new, broader tail lights attune to those found on the new Elantra and Tucson. The bottom of the bumper is sportier too, thanks to corner reflectors and a diffuser design.
Inside, the 2019 Accent gets a more modern and sophisticated finish, featuring a new dashboard with a T-bar arrangement. The interior is built with high-quality materials and premium features. In front of the driver is a new three-spoke wheel with mounted controls. There will also be two large dials with a larger multi-info display in between them.
Over in the center console is the entertainment system, now mounted higher than before and flanked by air-conditioning vents. Air-con controls are also set higher, freeing up space in the center console. This leaves room for two power outlets a USB port and an Aux port (depending on the model).
Blessed with a U-II 1.6-liter CRDi VGT engine, the Accent is a natural at saving fuel. Besides being efficient, it's also fun. This common-rail turbo diesel engine comes with a a variable geometry turbo for instant response no matter what RPM.
