Man slain by lady drinking pal

A man was stabbed dead by his female drinking buddy in Barangay Panghulo, Malabon City early Saturday morning, police said.

Police identified the victim as Rex Vinetora, 27, a construction worker, of Bulacan. The suspect, Emily Fano, 30, a helper, a resident of the village remains at large.

According to a report, the two, along with a certain Liezl Marcos, 28, were having a drinking spree at the suspect’s house before the incident.

Once they were done, Marcos accompanied Vinetora to his workplace and left Fano sleeping at her house.

Little did the two know, the suspect subsequently woke up and followed them.

Then, for no apparent reason, Fano stabbed the victim on different parts of his body, killing him instantly. She fled the area with her weapon.

The Northern Police District is still investigating the case.
