To help enterprises grow beyond expectations, Oracle NetSuite has announced new cloud-based innovations across core business processes, providing visibility, control and agility of operations and ensuring companies keep their true north.
Evan Goldberg, executive vice-president of Oracle NetSuite announced these new products at the SuiteWorld 2019, an annual gathering of NetSuite customers, partners and IT enthusiasts even before it NetSuite was acquired by Oracle almost three years ago, as he urged participants to find their true north.
“Our mission has always been to deliver a unified cloud suite that supports organizations in any industry, at any stage of growth. We are not selling a product, we are providing a service by providing one system in the cloud. That has really been our true north,” said Goldberg. True North in business refers to an organization’s orienting point - its fixed point in a spinning world - that helps you stay on track as a leader. It is derived from your company’s mission, it most deeply held beliefs, values, and the principles it holds sacred unique to the organization.
According to Goldberg, Oracle NetSuite customers have grown three times faster than others helped by the one system cloud solutions that ensure a company’s visibility, control and agility.
“These are the true north for you to accelerate growth,” he said.
Goldberg said that Oracle NetSuite solutions provide visibility from past, present and future with real time analytics. With visibility, a company has the ability to control their direction because the data generated will help management come up with the right decision. It also helps companies to be agile and flexible enough to adjust operations and strategies and keep them off the road because it can respond quickly.
“These are the true blueprint of growth -- visibility, control, and agility,” he said adding that what visibility and controls means is they cannot be disconnected to performance of business and performance of employees.
Goldberg stressed the need to adopt new business process solutions because ‘growing beyond’ means reaching the skyscrapers to increase impact adding that “whatever the journey and wherever it ends, it’s not a straight line, sometimes it means paving an entirely new path with obstacles but with entrepreneurial spirit you can break glass and that’s where growth accelerates.”

The latest updates to NetSuite include new analytics, commerce, financial, HR, marketing, project management and supply chain capabilities. The new capabilities help organizations reduce IT complexity, streamline business processes, simplify global trade, improve decision making, and enhance the customer and employee experience.
Oracle NetSuite solutions provides analytics, which offers powerful new consumer-grade data exploration and visualization capabilities within the SuiteAnalytics Workbook.
There are also 30 new extensions to SuiteCommerce enhance the customer experience by enabling business users to easily add new functionality. In addition, users can now integrate important third-party tools and product feeds to create compelling, fresh content without developer help.
On financials, Oracle NetSuite’s new accounting features, including lease accounting, self-balancing segments and rules-based, auto-matching bank transactions, help customers streamline financial management and dramatically improve efficiencies.
To ensure success in the global trade, solutions ensure financial management capabilities simplify tax changes, foreign currency expense reports and intercompany trade processes, while new localizations support customers headquartered or operating subsidiaries in some of the largest economies in the world.
