FLOOD MITIGATION PROJECT

– Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar inaugurated the two new adjacent pumping stations in Barangay Wawang Pulo and Coloong in Valenzuela City on April 6, which aims to mitigate flooding in low-lying areas. Villar said that the R1.02-billion project, located in Valenzuela-Obando-Meycauayan (VOM) areas, are part of the priority projects under the feasibility study on VOM and Drainage System Improvement Project.
