Camp & Play classes start
The Camp & Play summer basketball training started with a bang yesterday at the National Book Store on Quezon Avenue in Quezon City.
Begun in 1998 and running yearly since, the multi-session program on basketball science for both girls and boys is still accepting applicants, according to the platform’s founder Dayong Mendoza.
“We will introduce new analytics on the sport and game innovations in keeping with the new, scientific directions of basketball,” said Mendoza, a professional coach for 19 years now and presently an assistant coach at San Miguel Beer.
Team concept discussions and an actual team competition will cap the program presented by Vita Coco as the official drink and Gameville as the Camp & Play’s official apparel.
The new season runs from 2-5 pm at the newly-built Crimson Hawks of the NBS College inside the National Book Store.
