Angara at CREBA meet

-

Senate Ways and Means Committee Chairman Senator Sonny M. Angara called for the aversion of the housing crisis at the 3rd monthly business meeting of the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Associations, Inc. (CREBA) held in Makati City last March 29.

In his message, Angara vowed to work with CREBA whose five-point agenda envisions a home for every Filipino by intensifying housing production to the level of 500,000 units per year or 10 million homes in 20 years.

To achieve this, CREBA is supporting the bill filed by House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Sen. JV Ejercito which pools together a 1270-billion Comprehensive Home Financing Program (CHFP) to grant long-term and affordable home loans to low-income earners.
