Karting in Puerto Princesa

The country’s hottest karter, Bianca Bustamante, heads the starting grid this weekend when the 2019 Petron Blaze 100 ROK GP Super Karting Series fires off the new season with Races 1 and 2 at the Palawan International Circuit in Puerto Princesa City.

The 15-year-old reigning Asian Karting Open junior champion sets out to cement her place in senior racing as she guns for a two-round sweep in the ROK GP Blaze 100 class against Anthony Baisa, Jenn Tumambing, Princess Resuma and a host of other contenders.

Miguel Al Quinones and Tammy Baisa, two of the strongest performers in the recent Petron Blaze X30 Challenge Philippines series, backstop a talented field in the ROK GP 100 junior class that includes dark horses Julio Trofeo and Tara Laconico in the opening pair of the six-leg racing season sponsored by Petron Corp.
