Viva signs with Globalgate
IN LINE with the worldwide expansion of its operations, Viva Communications Inc. has joined Globalgate Entertainment.
Viva chairman and CEO Vicente del Rosario, Jr., sees this move as a major step towards his goal of making Viva productions available to the international market.
“Viva has a rich and diverse pool of creative talents and a massive catalogue of original content,” said Del Rosario, “It is now the right time to show the world what Filipinos are capable of, and I believe Globalgate Entertainment is the right partner to bring this to fruition.”
Headed by principals Clifford Werber, William Pfeiffer and Paul Presburger, Globalgate Entertainment is a local language film and TV production and financing venture aligned with Lionsgate. By signing with Globalgate, Viva joins a network that includes partners Televisa (Latin America), Gaumont (France), Nordisk (Scandinavia), Kadokawa (Japan), Lotte (South Korea), Tobis (Germany), and Rai (Italy).
