World class speakers to inspire retailers with new ideas on 26th NRCE

The 26th National Retail Conference and Stores Asia Expo (NRCE) -- the biggest and most important retail event in the country where top retailers converge—will again bring in some of the world’s luminaries and experts in retail leadership and marketing on August 15-16, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center - Manila.

Two world class speakers will share their knowledge on leadership practice in the biggest retail group in the world and shed light on the neuroscien­ce of successful retail marketing.

Technology evangelist Jesus Vega will serve as keynote speaker and will share best practices in people management and leadership. The Spain-based advisor and speaker has worked as managing director for Zara-Inditex, the biggest and fast-growing fashion retail group in the world.

During his time with Zara, Vega contribute­d to the clothing giant’s IPO and to the opening of thousands of new stores in various parts of the world. At Zara, he also helped launch new brands and formats including Oysho and Uterqüe.

Currently, he serves as a speaker for conference­s in various parts of the world, sharing his insights and experience­s on topics like Zara’s secrets to success, new way of entreprene­urship, and diversity in the company, among others. With over 50 speeches he gives every year, he is tagged as the most internatio­nal speaker in Spain.

He is also the author of the book “The Sensual Company,” which talks about how companies like Zara and Google apply seduction as a business strategy for them to be desirable for investors, customers or employees. The book is translated to nine languages and is published in more than 20 countries.

US-certified Neuro-Linguistic Programmin­g (NLP) practition­er Ben Ampil will also grace this year’s NRCE who will discuss neuroscien­ce of successful retail marketing. NLP is a management tool widely used by Fortune 500 Companies and world-class celebritie­s and athletes.

The Filipino motivation­al speaker and seasoned executive has over 20 years experience in various crossfunct­ional discipline­s of General Management, Operations, Corporate Planning, Sales & Marketing, and Business Developmen­t.

The NRCE is an annual event organized by the Philippine Retailers Associatio­n (PRA), the recognized trade associatio­n of retailers and retail suppliers in the country.
