CAGAYAN DE ORO – After posting a huge win over F2 Logistics, Petron seeks to wrap up the preliminaries on a high note when it battles dangerous Foton in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference Saturday at the Corpus Christi Gym here.

Action starts at 6 p.m. where the F2 Cargo Movers are tipped to go all out against PLDT Home Fibr in the 4 p.m. encounter.

After bowing to the Cargo Movers in the first round, the Blaze Spikers registered a thrilling 26-28, 27-29, 25-19, 25-20, 15-6 victory late Thursday at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The win wasn’t only payback for Petron but was also its 10th victory in a row, enough to push it to the top spot of the team standings with a 12-1 win-loss mark.

A victory by the Blaze Spikers will give them the top spot and a chance to face winless Marinerang Pilipina in a sudden death quarterfinal showdown.

“The whole team is inspired and we will deliver our best here in Cagayan de Oro City because a lot of volleyball fans are watching,” said Petron coach Shaq
