AVON’S WALK AND RUN FOR BREAST CANCER IS BACK

-

Avon Philippines is partnering with Color Manila Events, Inc. and Filinvest Alabang, Inc. for the first time in organizing the Pink Light Run for Breast Cancer, a night run to be held on October 19, Saturday at the Filinvest City Event Grounds.

The event, which invites participants to run through a pink-lit circuit and get caked in pink powder in time for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, continues Avon’s mission of fighting the disease by educating women on the importance of early detection through the breast self-exam.

Razvan Diratian, Avon Philippines General Manager, formally announced the partnership alongside Jay Em, Color Manila President. Also present at the announcement was Dr. Rachel Rosario, Executive Director of Philippine Cancer Society, Inc. “Today, we are strengthening our commitment to help save women’s lives together with Color Manila and the Philippine Cancer Society, as we take another step forward and continue our fight against breast cancer through the Pink Light Run for Breast Cancer 2019,” Diratian said.

Filinvest Alabang, Inc., one of the leading conglomerates in the country, is also supporting Avon Philippines’ advocacy on breast cancer awareness. This year marks the return of the run since 2015. Proceeds of the Pink Light Run for Breast Cancer will go to the Philippine Cancer Society.
