Suzuki launches all-new Carry

Suzuki Philippine­s Inc. (SPH), just launched their latest vehicle designed to meet the needs of businesses. The allnew Suzuki Carry is ideal for small to medium enterprise­s (SMEs) with features that make it a tough and reliable business partner.

Workhorse

The all-new Carry supercedes its predecesso­r, the Suzuki Super Carry, and it improves on performanc­e with a larger and stronger yet fuel-efficient K15B 1.5-liter engine that puts out 96hp at 5,600rpm with 135Nn of torque at 4,400rpm.

It’s also bigger, with a wider and longer with body configurat­ions like a dropside flatbed, cargo van or utility van. need whether you need a utility van, cargo truck, or pick-up truck, you’ll get the same reliabilit­y and functional­ity expected of Suzuki.

The all-new Carry and its variants are priced at: R509,000 (Carry truck); R576,000 (Carry Cargo Van); and R614,000 for the Carry Utility Van.

The dropside body allows the side gates to open from all sides, making loading and unloading cargo so much easier. It’s equipped with 22-rope hooks to secure cargo. The bed is 365 mm longer and 75 mm wider than its predecesso­r, which translates to better weight distributi­on when loaded with its cargo capacity of 940 kg. The cabin is more spacious and comfortabl­e, and offers additional storage areas in the dashboard and around the cabin. The gear lever is now mounted up on the dash, giving extra legroom for occupants.

At the same event, Suzuki also launched a new variant of their Dzire Compact sedan, the new Suzuki Dzire GA. This variant is intended for commuters and ride sharing entreprene­urs. Its compact dimensions make it easy to manage and it has expanded storage capacity, also making it perfect for the taxi fleet business. Under the hood is the fuel efficient K12M engine. The interior and fuel efficient engine guarantee your transport business will offer comfort for your passengers on the streets of the metro. The Suzuki Dzire GA 1.2L MT is priced at R549, 900.
