power is the new 4N14 2.2-liter inline-4 turbo diesel engine. It produces 99 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It’s paired to a five-speed manual that drives the rear wheels.

On the exterior, Mitsubishi has retained the familiar boxy styling, with subtle changes like a new grill and a bumper with a lip spoiler. The entire body has been raised by 100 mm. Inside, the L300 retains much of the original interior with an updated gauge cluster and new radio.

To allow it to cater to the various needs of MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprise), Mitsubishi continues to offer the L300 in various body styles made by either Centro or Almazora. The L300 Cab and Chassis is manufactur­ed at Mitsubishi Motors Philippine­s, Corp.’s MMPC’s Sta. Rosa plant in Laguna, and undergoes a number stringent quality control measures.

The 2020 Mitsubishi L300 (Cab & Chassis) starts at a suggested retail price of R804,000.

For the L300 with FB bodies built by either Centro or Almazora, the price goes up to R998,000.00.
