Cebu developer eyes green buildings

-

Cebu-based real estate developer Jeg Development Corporation (JDC) sets its direction to greener buildings to raise the quality of premium spaces in Cebu City to be at par with both national and international standards.

Through the third-generation executives from the Garcia family enterprise, COO Marko Sarmiento, brand manager Ayla Gomez, and estate and business development manager Stefan Garcia lead the company to pursue a more sustainable path as part of their contribution to their family’s legacy and to the growth of Cebu.

“We are a young and dynamic player in Cebu’s real estate industry, we’re making our contribution by having a long-term view in developing livable and sustainable communities,” said Sarmiento.

Apart from its flagship project in green buildings, the Jeg Tower @ One Acacia, the company has earlier ventured into residential and commercial spaces.

“Our work at JDC reflects our pride as Cebuanos and at the same time, building with the Cebuano in mind,” said Gomez.

“Integrity guides everything we do, and we are mindful of our impact to the environment and to the future generations of Cebuanos.”

Firmly rooted in the community, JDC is building for a more livable Cebu by designing their projects around the aspirations and future needs of the people. They envision their properties to usher in a new standard of living for the community.

Garcia knew that going green is a step that would significantly benefit Cebuanos.

“Adapting environment-friendly practices and technologies in property development is a long-term strategy for JDC. We believe that starting with the Jeg Tower @ One Acacia, we can reduce in operating costs through its efficient resource management.”
