Baron Geisler up for int’l project next year?
Baron Geisler might join the cast of an international movie project in
2020.
“…Fingers crossed,” he was quoted to have said in a Push article. “I’m praying na matuloy, pero I’m in touch with this producer sa States doing a film. We’re going to shoot I heard sa Mexico, Thailand, Philippines, New
York, and Washington D.C. It’s a good project. We’ll start shooting next year. Tuloy daw sabi ng producer nu’ng pumunta siya dito sa Pilipinas a few weeks ago. Nag-message siya ulit last week na she can’t wait to work with me and ganun din ako with them.”
In the meantime, Baron feels lucky to have finished a local project early this year. The former “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” actor is cast alongside Joel Torre, Piolo Pascual, direk Laurice Guillen, and Christopher de Leon, among others.
“Sobrang dami. Sobrang blessing itong movie na ito. Basta Mindanao ang setting. Ang saya. I had to speak in Maguindanaoan and learn it a bit,” he said.
The oncecontroversial actor is slowly trying to better himself. Baron believes he is “still God’s work in progress.”
“The key here lang is patience para sa akin, para hindi ako ma-overwhelm or magbackslide sa dati kong gawain, ’yung mga character defects ika nga. I’m trying to remove all of them one by one,” he said. “I’m still dealing with some demons na ayokong tawaging demons. Pero natatanggal na ’yung mga masamang attitude, kino-correct na with the help of God. Nagiging maayos na akong citizen dito sa Pilipinas. Kaya siguro napapansin ng iba.”
