Now on its sixth run, the Designers’ Holiday Bazaar returns to The Gallery of Greenbelt 5 from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15. The yearly bazaar, organized by sisters and

offers proudly Filipinomade products from fashion items to home decor. More than patronizing local products and helping uplift communities, the bazaar raises funds for the children in Ayala Foundation’s CENTEX elementary schools and Steps Scholarship Foundation.

“Twenty percent of the proceeds from the bazaar go to helping children get scholarships for four years while they finish high school,” says Bea. The bazaar helps in providing scholarships for the children, including tuition, school uniforms, and allowance.

Designers’ Holiday Bazaar started in 2013 as a group of artists helping each other to form an artist’s village in El Nido, Palawan. The group of artists,

Elizalde, Bea Zobel Jr. Sofia

including and

worked together with philanthropist Bea Zobel Jr. to launch the bazaar.

Showcasing Filipino talent and ingenuity, the event today houses some of the country’s finest artisans. This year’s fashion and accessories exhibitors include Betina, Arnel Papa, DSV Studio, Feanne, Joel Escober, Riqueza Jewellery, Lulu Tan-Gan, and Tim Tam

Ong, to name a few.

“This bazaar not only features gorgeous Philippinemade products, it also makes a real difference,” says Sofia. “With each item you buy, you are helping to educate a child. Your support can really change lives!”
