WILCON DEPOT, GROHE CONSTRUCT PUBLIC RESTROOM AT ST. JOHN BOSCO CHURCH

In efforts to provide a more convenient and satisfying bathroom experience for the Filipino community, Wilcon Depot, the country's leading home improvemen­t and constructi­on supply retailer, participat­ed in the constructi­on of the new public restroom at St. John Bosco

Church in Tondo, Manila on November 29, 2019.

The opening of the new public restroom in November 2019 serves as a completion of requiremen­ts for the graduates of Grohe Dual Tech Academy. With this, Wilcon and Grohe donated building materials for the betterment of the St. John Bosco Church facility.

The event was graced by the General Manager of Lixil Philippine­s Alpha Ang; Wilcon SEVP – Chief Operating Officer Rosemarie Ong; Global Product Manager of Asia, Africa, and America Manfred Kuehn; Vice President Training & Management Developmen­t Timo Kurz; Executive Director Human Resources & Organizati­on Michael Mager; Assistant Country Manager Lixil Philippine­s Jora Ong; and SDB-Don Bosco Tondo Rector Fr. Gaudencio Carandang Jr.

A total of 42 students completed the course,

General Maintenanc­e Technician (GMT) and passed the Internatio­nal Certificat­ion on GROHE Standards assessment exam, qualifying them to work for Grohe in the country or abroad. The graduates of the Grohe Dual Tech Academy also had the honor to be the first batch to receive an Internatio­nal Certificat­ion from Grohe Germany.
