Harnessing Filipino marketing creativity at World Marketing Summit 2020
For the first time in the Philippines, the World Marketing Summit (WMS) will reach local shores in order to tap into Filipinos’ vaunted creativity in the world of marketing.
Set at The Theater at Solaire in Parañaque City on February 22, 2020, the World Marketing Summit Philippines 2020, which carries the theme “Building a Digital Economy through Marketing,” aims to attract and present new opportunities for enterprising CEOs and CMOs and help create a better world through marketing, knowledge and creativity.
At present, new demographics and local conditions in developed markets are presenting decision makers with unique challenges.
The concern now is how modernday marketers will embrace their new roles in a world that is fast becoming digital savvy and be reliable influencers when it comes to inspiring and affecting consumer behavior and corporate strategy.
The World Marketing Summit Philippines 2020 is brought to the Philippines by IMMA Marketing Philippines, Inc., an integrated advertising and marketing company headquartered in Canada and headed by its President, Cherry Motil, who also serves as Chief Marketing Officer of WMS Philippines, and Kotler Impact, a strategic marketing community that seeks to employ sustainable economic development established by Philip Kotler, known as the “Father of Modern Marketing” and Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA.
The Philippines will be the 20th country where the WMS will be held this year, after making stops at countries such as China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, South Africa, UK, Canada, Turkey, UAE, Italy, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, among others.

Among the lineup of speakers for WMS Philippines 2020 include respected global marketing minds such as Sadia Kibria, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the World Marketing Summit;
Laura Ries, a leading marketing strategist and renowned author of various best-selling marketing books and advertising and branding consultant;
Also scheduled to appear is Moran Cerf, a French neuroscientist and business professor at the Kellogg School and former hacker turned neuromarketer and founder of ThinkAlike Labs and B-Cube.
