Jane de Leon, Vance Larena sign up with T.E.A.M.
Tyronne James Escalante recently introduced his roster of talents that have been making a name for themselves in show business. They are Jane de Leon, tapped to take over the role of Darna from Liza Soberano; Vance Larena, who already starred in “Bakwit Boys;” Kelvin Miranda, a breakthrough actor in “Dead Kids,” the firstever Netflix show made for the Philippines; Lexi Gonzales, the “StarStruck (Season 7)” First Princess; Angel Guardian; Ana de
Leon; Keann Johnson; Ayeesha Cervantes; Mara Alverto; Megan Dee; Anne Tenorio; Anikka Camaya; John Matthew Uy; Kristel Atinen; Coleene Isip Ferrer; and director Monti Parungao.
The name of the management agency is T.E.A.M. or the Tyronne Escalante Artist Management Company, which aims “to help them develop and hone their Godgiven talents in the entertainment industry and to uphold these artists’ bankability and credibility to the satisfaction of T.E.A.M.’s clientele.”
Asked how he chose the talents,
Tyronne said the most important thing is their attitude.
“Pero hindi ako magpapakaipokrito. Siyempre napaka importante din sa akin ’yung physical (appearance) kasi ’yun din ’yung bentahin natin,” he said. “Bilang isang artista, kailangan kahit papaano competitive tayo. Kailangan kahit papaano nakakalaban tayo sa mas malaking management na makakaharap natin. Gusto ko ay makapuwing man lang at maka-penetrate sa industry.”
How does he ensure all will be given equal attention, we asked.
“Iba-iba sila ng kakayahan and strengths. Naniniwala ako na kaya ko nga sila nilaban kasi may nakikita ako sa kanila, nararamdaman ko kung mag-go-grow sila,” he said.
He cited Jane as an example.
“Kahit naman si Jane nu’ng umpisa, nu’ng nag simula siya, nag-extra (sa shows or movies) — na experience niya ’yun hanggang sa nakita natin na nagtiyaga siyang mag-audition at nakuha,” he shared. “Kaya walang ibang makakapag sabi kung talagang lalaki ang isang artista. Nakukuha ’yan sa tiyaga at kung talagang gusto mong gawin ’yun.”
He added that prayers play a big role behind any success. née Helena Bertinelli (Mary Elizabeth Winstead).
