Remulla’s warning
CAVITE – Governor Jonvic Remulla warned that he might be forced to revert back to stricter quarantine measures after Caviteños came in droves to malls the day after enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) was downgraded in the province. “Ang dami nag dagsaan sa mga mall at iba pang lugarnatinginnila ‘back to normal’ na,” Remulla said in a Facebook post on Sunday, May 17, a day after the less-restrictive general community quarantine (GCQ) took effect in the province. He appealed to the public not to abuse the system being implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
