On May 18, 1956, New York Yankee slugger Mickey Mantle hits homerun from both sides of plate for record third time. He becomes the first player in baseball history to hit home runs both left-handed and right-handed… in one game, accounting for all 5 runs in NY’s 5-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers.
