Rain water collection

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Around 20 rain water collection systems (RWCS) were installed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Cagayan Second District Engineerin­g Office (CSDEO) in Cagayan school in preparatio­n for the rainy season. The project amounted to 13.85 million in different schools located within its area of jurisdicti­on was funded under the General Appropriat­ions Act (GAA) of 2019. DPWH Regional informatio­n officer Wilzon Valdez said the recipient schools were: Nararagan Elementary School, Caranana Babbay Elementary School and Cabayu Elementary School in Ballestero­s; Curva Elementary School, Pimpila Elementary School and Bagu Elementary School in Pamplona; Abarionaga­n National High School, Nilug Sur Elementary School, Niug Norte Primary School in Sto. Niño; Callungan Elementary School, Namuac Elementary School and Marzan Elementary School in Sanchez Mira; Pata Elementary School in Claveria; Villa Cruz Elementary School and Dungan Elementary School in Rizal; Sta. Filomena Elementary School in Abulug; and Cabatacan National High School, Callao Elementary School, Lasam West Central School and Allana Elemantary School in Lasam. (Liezle Basa Iñigo)
