ASUS committed in helping various sectors in need of donations
The global pandemic saw an opportunity for many leading companies in the country to take part in assisting and helping those who are in need during these difficult times.
Thanks to them, many sectors can go on with their activities as the nation battles the COVID-19 health crisis.
ASUS Philippines is one of the tech brands aiding various sectors by providing devices for uninterrupted service continuity.
Just recently, the company donated five (5) ASUS laptops to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to be used for the agency’s Swabbing Centers specifically for encoding and transmitting of COVID-19 results from this facility to PRC.
ASUS also donated five (5) brand new Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 licenses to ensure a more seamless workflow.
These items were turned over to DPWH Build Build Build Chairwoman Anna Mae Lamentillo.
ASUS remains committed in its CSR program, helping various sectors in need through donation of devices that will both lessen the digital divide, and improve the lives of the community.
Earlier this year, ASUS donated eighty (80) laptops to two schools in Northern Luzon, in order to improve the teaching and learning process.
This was followed by a recent donation to the Philippine Lung Center with the aid of former DOH Secretary Enrique Ona Jr, in order to boost the COVID-19 testing capacities of the medical institution.
