Former Filipino beauty queen-restaurateur Jessie Maloles has been awarded the top model of the season during the Flame Festival online event held in London recently.

Jessie received the recognition under the mature category. Other Filipino celebrities who brought honors were designer John Guarnes who won the Mister Art 2021, Best Flame Designer and Best Talk Show Host and Bench Bello who received three awards Best Creative Director, Best Talk Show Host and Best Designer.

Mariel Prion was also declared Flame Top Model 2021 adult category, Rose Tolentino as Philantropist of the Year and Elisa Sonza, Businesswoman of the Year.

Flame Festival is a young and ambitious project getting bigger and better each new season. The project was created to support young talents from the sphere of Fashion and Art. The event was held online last Feb. 25-27.

Modelling is not new to Jessie who has been featured in different fashion shows and magazine covers here and abroad.

In Oct. 2020, Jessie was one of the featured models at the Fashion Week Brooklyn in New York.

Aside from conducting charity works during this pandemic, Jessie continues to showcase her modeling skills by conducting a series of photo shoots.

According to Jessie, this is her way to express herself and manage stress and anxiety and this COVID-19 crisis will not stop her to be beautiful and gorgeous.

Jessie was overwhelmed about the recognition because one of her friends nominated her and submitted her photos and catwalk video to the Flame festival. Luckily, she won in the international modelling competition.

The festival brought together the creative team and many participants from different nationalities from around the world: designers, artists of various genres, models, celebrities, and international VIP guests.
