Kai Sotto spent one of his recent training sessions in Miami, Florida with former NBA player Amar’e Stoudemire.

An Instagram story of Stoudemire’s trainer Felix Flores showed Sotto working out with the current player development assistant of the Brooklyn Nets at The Miami Perimeter.

The Miami Perimeter is a sports performance facility owned by Flores.

Stoudemire was known for his 14-year NBA career with the Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat. He also had stints in Israel, China and the 3-on-3 league known as BIG3.

Stoudemire was prominent for winning the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2003 and his partnership with Steve Nash that resulted in the Suns reaching the Western Conference Finals in 2005, 2006 and 2010.

Sotto is currently in South Beach to continue working on his game a couple of months after parting ways with Team Ignite in the recent NBA G-League bubble.

The 7-foot-3 have been spending the past weeks working out or playing pickup games.

He also became a high school graduate after receiving his diploma at The Miami School in Ohio.
