Kobe Paras leaves UP, joins EWP
Kobe Paras tries his luck again overseas when he signs up with Ohio-based firm East West Private.
The firm announced this in an Instagram post Tuesday, April 20, welcoming the 6-foot-6 forward to the fold.
“Let tomorrow be your second chance to prove that you are better today than yesterday. Welcome to the family, Kobe,” read the post, accompanied by a group picture with Paras on it.
With the development, Paras is foregoing his final year with the University of the Philippines, where he played for one season after taking up a one-year residency.
This isn’t the first time that Paras would bring his act internationally.
He played and finished secondary school in the United States in 2013, before getting recruited by University of California. He then transferred to Creighton University and Cal State Northridge.
Paras returned to the Philippines in 2018 where he eventually joined the Maroons.
