Sanya Lopez remains a Kapuso, wants to play lesbian on screen
Kapuso star Sanya Lopez is ready for some serious projects! This after Sanya revealed her dream roles when she renewed her ties with GMA Artist Center during a contract signing held on July 29.
Sanya announced that several projects have been lined-up for her, although she refused to give details about it.
“Sa ngayon hindi ko puwede sabihin pero may pelikula. May surprises daw ang GMA na nakahanda sa akin. Hangga’t hindi talaga nangyayari hindi ako magkukuwento,” she said.
Sanya also revealed her dream roles. “Gusto ko i-explore ang romantic-comedy (projects). Ngayon lang kasi talaga ako gumawa ng rom-com. Gusto ko rin i-try maging super hero. Dati sa ‘Encantadia’ apat kami. Pero ngayon gusto ko naman maranasan yung nakasalalay lahat sa akin.”
She surprised the entertainment media when she said she would love to do another lesbian project. “Before, may ginawa na akong isa. Minsan tinatanong ko pa rin sa sarili ko ‘what if i-partner ka rin sa babae.’ Gusto ko talaga ng challenging roles.”
Given the chance, she would love to team-up with Solenn Heussaff in the dream project. “Wala lang. Ang hot kasi niya. Feel ko madali siyang kumonek sa akin.”
Sanya also considers Rhian Ramos and Glaiza de Castro as possible love interests in the lesbian project.
There’s no question about Sanya’s passion and dedication for her craft.
Sanya, 25, is now a household name throughher notable roles in various projects including the most recent hit GMA primetime series ‘First Yaya’ where she won the hearts of Filipino viewers asthe adorable Yaya Melody.
“I’m very, very happy. I didn’t expect namangyayari ang lahat ng ito. Ang gusto ko lang noon ay basta may trabaho lang.Kahit hindi ako maging bida kasi alam ko naman kung gaano kahirap makapasok sashowbiz. Pero God gave me more than what I prayed for,” she said.
In addition, she promised her fans and herhome network that she will remain grounded and will continue to give her all inevery project assigned to her, “Kung sino si Sanya noon ay same Sanya pa rinang makikita nila ngayon na masayahin at patuloy na magpapasaya sa lahat ng mgasumusuporta sa kanya. Sa GMA, lagi kayongnakatatak dito sa puso ko dahil kayo ang nagbigay ng malaking break sa akindito sa showbiz. Mahal na mahal ko kayo.”
