The Manila city government opened 200 additional slots for its drive-thru vaccination at Rizal Park.

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso announced on Friday (August 13) that slots for its drive-thru vaccination will be doubled.

"Bubuksan muli ng inyong registration sa manilacovid19vaccine.ph. Hindi lang ho natin itutuloy, dodoblehin natin (We will again open the registration at manilacovid19vaccine.ph. We will not only continue it, we will double it)," Domagoso said.

The city government opened the 200 additional slots for Aug. 16 to 22 vaccination on Friday, August 13. Those who want to reserve may go to www.manilacovid19vaccine.ph.

"Ang maganda po, dati 100 slots lang, ngayon po ay 200 slots na ang ipamimigay natin (What's good about this is we are now giving 200 slots from the previous 100 slots)," Domagoso said.

A person who has a reserved slot can bring up to three family members as long as they are registered for vaccination.

Domagoso earlier said all those who wish to reserve a slot must register first.

Only four-wheel vehicles will be allowed at the drivethru vaccination area as the city government wants people to be protected when it rains.

The drive-thru vaccination was launched on July 31 at the Luneta Park to make vaccine deployment easier for residents during the rainy season.
