36 Miss World PH 2022 bets presented
Thirty-six lovely candidates for Miss World Philippines 2022 were presented to the media at Cove Manila in Parañaque City last May 12.
The contestants first introduced themselves in their cocktail dresses, then wowed the crowd with their pasarela or pageant walk in the swimsuit round, and finally answered questions from the press during the Q&A.
This year's official candidates are: Simone Nadine Bornilla (Marinduque), Erika Vinculado (Capiz), Angel Jed Zaragoza Latorre (Lambunao, Iloilo), Maica Cabling Martinez (Nueva Ecija), Shaina Rose Manalo Ico (Batangas), Samantha M. Gabronino (San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan), Erika Kristensen (Carmona, Cavite), Tsina Jade Chu (Iloilo Province), Kayla Arriadne Tiongson (Lipa City, Batangas), Kristal Marie Gante (Davao Del Norte), Maria Niña C. Soriano (Pangasinan), Anje Mae Manipol (Quezon Province), Maria Gigante (Cebu), Patricia Dizon (Pampanga), . Ivanna

City), Mauie Long (Bulacan Province), Loraine Joy Arpia ( Trece Martires City, Cavite), Angela Teng ( Baliwag, Bulacan), Natazha Vea Bautista (Misamis Oriental), Kevyn Alessandrea Mateo (Bataan), Marinel Timoteo Tungol (Pampanga), Beatriz McLelland (Aklan), Patricia McGee (Zambales) and Lady Justerinnie Santos (Bulakan, Bulacan).
Candidate No. 20, Ashley Montenegro, received the only special award given during the event, which was Miss LeMeur Body. Ashley is a business management student from Enderun Colleges and is considered one of the front-runners in the pageant.
The Press Presentation was hosted by former Miss World Philippines queens Riana Pangindian and Emmanuelle
Vera. Also present during the event were MWPH National Director Arnold Vegafria, Okada Manila VP for Sales and Marketing Cielo Ortega-Reboredo, Megaworld Hotels and Resorts Group Managing Director Cleofe Albiso, LeMeur Aesthetics Founder and CEO Mae Ng, and Timberland Highlands Resorts' Alfred Labadan and Zeon Luis.
The candidates will be busy within
the next two weeks with important pre-pageant activities which include the Head-To-Head Competition in Twin Lakes Tagaytay, the Beach Beauty Competition in Savoy Hotel/Belmont Boracay, The National Costume Competition in Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill, the Sports Challenge in Timberland Highlands Resort, as well as the Charity Gala and the Top Model Competition which will both be held at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila.
Miss World PH 2022 candidates' swimsuits are designed by Jhong Sudlon while the make-up will be done by Jim Ryan Ros, with Hair Fix as the official hair partner. Reyes Tacandong & Co. will be the official tabulator. KTX, iWantTFC and Kumu are the media partners.
The Miss World Philippines 2022 coronation night is scheduled at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on June 5. The winners will represent the Philippines at the Miss World 2022, Miss Supranational 2022, Miss Eco International 2022, and Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 international pageants.
