- By JONATHAN HICAP

A former Korean Navy SEAL and YouTuber who went to Ukraine in March to fight the war against Russia announced that he was injured and said he expects that he will be arrested when he returns to his country.

Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24. Lt. Ken Rhee, 37, and his two companions arrived in Ukraine on March 7. He announced on March 6 that he was leaving South Korea to be a volunteer soldier in Ukraine.

Ken Rhee runs the YouTube channel Rokseal [Republic of Korea SEAL] and is a founder of the military consulting firm Rokseal. His bio on the company website listed Rhee as UDT/ Seal Platoon Commander of Special Missions Unit, Seal Delivery Vehicle Unit and Naval Special Warfare Center; private military contractor, DOS security investigator, United Nations security officer and Rokseal founder.

He also appeared on Korean TV programs including “Fake Men” and “Radio Star.”

Ken Rhee is fighting in Ukraine as part of the International Legion of Defence of Ukraine.

On May 15, the ROKSEAL YouTube channel posted that Ken Rhee was

Hundreds of fans were screaming last Sunday as the cast of Niña Niño performed at Robinson’s Pampanga to celebrate their season finale which will be telecast on May 19.

Led by our lead star Maja Salvador, the majestic superstar sang a few songs and thanked her fans for the success of the teleserye on TV 5 that lasted for two years. Among the cast members that performed onstage were Noel Comia Jr. Junyka Santarin, Rowi Du, Dudz, Lilet, Yayo Aguila, Jm Salvado and guest stars Jairus Aquino and Nanette Inventor. I was able to interview teen star Junyka Santarin and she would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for supporting Niña Niño. “Sobrang thankful po kami dahil sa opportunity na naibigay sa amin as cast ng Niña Niño para po magbigay kasiyahan at inspirasyon sa lahat ng tao. Taos-puso po kaming nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng tumatangkilik at sumusuporta sa amin hanggang dulo.”

For two years, fans were enamored by two siblings who ran away from the city and landed in Sta. Ynez hoping to seek help and refuge from the folks of the barrio. Little did they know that they will be the ones to help the townsfolk sort out their problems.

On the finale season, find out if Niño (Noel Comia Jr.) will be able to heal his mother (Lilet) from cancer and if Niña (Maja) will finally forgive her mother from deserting them injured in Ukraine and underwent an operation.

“Lt. Ken Rhee recently incurred injuries while leading a special reconnaissance mission behind enemy lines. He has been transferred to a military hospital following the successful operation. We will keep you posted,” according to the announcement.

In South Korea, Ken Rhee is facing imprisonment, fine and cancellation of his passport for violating the government travel ban to Ukraine.

The Korean government imposed a Level 4 restriction (travel ban) for all Korean nationals from going to Ukraine starting on Feb. 13 due to the war. during their childhood. On my side of the story, Vanessa (that’s me), is faced with her husband returning to her and her daughter, Veronica (Mutya Orquia). Will the fierce Vanessa kick her husband’s face after deserting her and her daughter, leaving her to work for the family? And lastly, who will win the elections? Kap (Dudz) or Isay (Moi Bien) or Mang Fred (Kuya Jobert) ? Only by watching the season finale will you get to answer all my questions.

So what is the next chapter for the cast members. The future is looking bright for Maja Salvador’s lovelife as she finally ties the knot with PBA partylist representative Rambo Nuñez. In her YouTube account and other platforms of social media, she has announced that she and Rambo are

Rhee went to Ukraine without the Korean government’s permission. According to a post by Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if a Korean national goes to Ukraine without permission, he will be subjected to criminal punishment and administrative sanctions for violating the country’s passport law.

If found guilty, Rhee may be imprisoned for up to one year or subjected to a fine of 10 million won ($8.249).

Ken Rhee was interviewed by the media outlet The New Voice of Ukraine in which he detailed his status in Ukraine and the prospects of him being arrested when he returns to South Korea. now engaged to be married. Both are business partners of an artist management agency, Crown Artist management, that manages Maja’s career and other artists like John Lloyd Cruz and Jessie Salvador (Maja’s sister).

In terms of her career, she is still the dance queen of “Eat Bulaga” and is producing a new project she will announce soon. On my part, I start shooting a new comedy serye for Viva entitled Kalye Queens with Alma Moreno, Dina Bonnievie, and Marissa Sanchez.

To the producers of Niña Nińo I would like to thank CS Studios, TV 5 and Cignal for creating such a beautiful teleserye that gave hope to the Filipinos during pandemic that there is a God who will take care of us. Niña Niño may also be viewed in Netflix, but season 2 (where I am included) is not yet available in the said streaming platform. Season 1 and Season 2 are both available in Cignal’s streaming on demand app.
