Newbie Station Logistic signs new lease with ALLHC for warehouse expansion

True to its purpose of building lasting relationships with its locators, Ayalaland Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) opened its doors to Newbie Station Logistic Inc. as it establishes itself at ALLHC’S Alogis Calamba site in Laguna. This latest development builds upon Newbie’s initial lease for their first warehouse facility in the Philippines signed two years ago.

In 2021, Newbie Logistic inked a deal with ALLHC for their first business site in the country to mark Newbie's entry into the Philippine market. The logistics company, serving top e-commerce industries, leased 13,000 sq.m. of warehouse leasable area at the Alogis Biñan 4 site of readybuilt facilities at Laguna Technopark, a premier industrial estate developed by ALLHC. This strategic move allowed Newbie to establish its presence in the country's growing logistics sector.

Fast forward to the present, ALLHC and Newbie Logistic forges a new deal for the latter’s operations expansion. Newbie Logistic is set to become an anchor lessee at Alogis Calamba in Laguna, where it will occupy 33,400 sq.m. of gross leasable space. Additionally, it will expand its presence in Biñan, Laguna, by leasing an additional 11,600 sq.m. at the Alogis Biñan 4 facility.

This expansion marks a significant milestone as it comes less than two years after Newbie Logistic's initial tenancy with ALLHC in Alogis Biñan 4. The turnover of the additional Biñan space took place in May 2023, while the full turnover of the Calamba site occurred just this September 2023. This development is expected to create employment opportunities for approximately 1,300 workers across the two sites, underscoring ALLHC'S dedication to supporting jobs generation for nearby localities.

With this development, ALLHC solidifies its position as the preferred partner in logistics real estate solutions. Presently, the company oversees a portfolio of nine properties across five key locations in Luzon, with expansion ongoing at Alogis Naic 2, situated within Cavite Technopark, for 11,000 sq.m. more of leasable warehouse space.
