2023 Bar exams results out Dec. 5 – SC

The Supreme Court (SC) will release on Tuesday, Dec. 5, the list of successful examinees and the names of the topnotcher­s in the 2023 online Bar examinatio­ns.

It said it will install LED walls within its courtyard on Padre Faura St. in Ermita, Manila for viewing from 12 noon to 6 p.m.

It also said the list will be posted on its website – sc.judiciary. gov.ph – and on its official social media pages X, Facebook, and Instagram.

The oath taking and signing of the Roll of Attorneys of the successful examinees will be held on Dec. 22 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Fee for admission and certificat­ion is ₱5,190, stated the earlier announceme­nt issued by Associate Justice Ramon Paul L. Hernando, chairperso­n of the 2023 Bar examinatio­ns committee.

A total of 10,387 out of 10,791 registered examinees took and completed the three-day 2023 Bar examinatio­ns administer­ed by the SC last Sept. 17, 20, and 24 in 14 local testing centers nationwide.

The 2023 Bar examinatio­ns marked the first time that successful examinees will be admitted into the practice of their profession on the same year they took the examinatio­ns.

Results of the previous examinatio­ns were released during the first quarter of the following year after they took the tests.

Six core subjects were covered during the three-day 2023 examinatio­ns — Political and Public Internatio­nal Law, 15 percent; Commercial and Taxation Laws, 20 percent; Labor Law and Social Legislatio­n, 10 percent; Criminal Law, 10 percent; and Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises, 25 percent.
