Rep. Tulfo tops latest OCTA senatorial survey
ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo led the OCTA Research’s latest senatorial survey for the May 2025 elections.
The survey released on Thursday, April 4, and conducted from March 11 to 14 revealed that 16 personalities have a statistical chance of winning a Senate seat if the elections were held during the survey period.
Tulfo had a significant lead, with 58 percent of Filipinos saying they would vote for him.
Statistically tied for second and third place were former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III (52 percent) and Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go (50 percent).
Tulfo’s brother and broadcaster Ben Tulfo finished fourth to fifth with a 43 percent overall voting preference.
Former President Rodrigo R. Duterte ranked fourth to sixth with a 38 percent overall voting preference, followed by former Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, who ranked fifth to 10th with a 34 percent overall voting support.
Tied for sixth to 11th place were Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa (33 percent) and former Sen. Manny Pacquiao (32 percent).
Sharing sixth to 12th place were Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla (30 percent) and Sen. Imee Marcos (29 percent).
Former Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is in the seventh to 14th spot with a 27 percent overall voting preference and Sen. Pia Cayetano is in the ninth to 16th spot with a 26 percent voting preference.
Sen. Francis Tolentino and Sen. Lito Lapid are tied for 11th to 19th place with 22 percent voter support.
Tied for 12th to 19th place were cardiologist and online health personality Willie Ong and Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. with 21 percent voter preference.
OCTA’S “Tugon ng Masa” First Quarter 2024 Survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adult respondents nationwide. It is an independent and nonpartisan poll conducted regularly by OCTA.
