50 years of Peru-philippines friendship through art
A unique initiative, organized by the Embassy of Peru in Thailand in collaboration with the Honorary Consulate General of Peru in Manila, seeks to engage children in creatively expressing the enduring friendship between the two countries.
Everyone is invited to join and promote a special children’s drawing contest celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Peru and the Republic of the Philippines.
The "Peru-philippines Friendship Drawing Contest" welcomes children from all backgrounds and nationalities to showcase their artistic talents and imagination.
It is open to participants between the ages of six to 11, divided into two categories: Category 1 (six to eight years old) and Category 2 (nine to 11 years old).
Participants are encouraged to unleash their creativity using a variety of materials and techniques. Whether through acrylics, brushes, pencils, crayons, markers, or any other medium, children have the freedom to express their interpretation of the deeprooted friendship shared between Peru and the Philippines.
This contest not only commemorates the diplomatic relations between Peru and the Philippines but also serves as a platform for cultural exchange and mutual understanding among young minds. By participating, children will contribute to the celebration of diplomacy while gaining invaluable knowledge and skills through their artistic endeavors. Deadline of submission of entries is on May 20, 2024.
