The signing of their respective contract was formally done on May 18 at the Sofitel Hotel. It was graced by other known personalities and firms in real estate development such as Palafox and Associates and FCLaranang Development Corporation.

Puerto de San Juan Beach Residences is an expansion of the renowned Puerto de San Juan Beach Resort Hotel, which has been a popular destination for both foreign and local tourists since the 1990s. The project, designed by Palafox Associates, incorporates the natural elements of the site, such as the sun, sea, sand, and surfing— the famous tourist activity in the area. It can be reached via a roughly three-hour drive from Balintawak, Quezon City, using the Tarlac, Pangasinan, La Union Expressway (TPLEX). The travel time is expected to be further reduced as TPLEX is planned to be extended all the way to San Juan, La Union.
