DTI OPENS 1ST OTOP.PH STORE IN DINAGAT ISLANDS

THE Dinagat Islands proudly welcomed its rst-ever One Town, One Product Philippine­s (Otop.ph) store in Libjo. This initiative, a collaborat­ion between the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Libjo Mining Corporatio­n, and the local government, marks a signi cant developmen­t for local entreprene­urs.

Otop.ph, a flagship program of DTI Philippine­s, empowers local communitie­s by connecting producers with wider markets and boosting confidence in their unique products. The Libjo store, strategica­lly located in Brgy. San Antonio, embodies this mission.

Designed as more than just a retail space, the Otop.ph Store in Libjo serves as a venue for local artisans, food producers, and craftsmen. Here, a diverse range of products – from organic food items to intricate handicraft­s – showcases the creativity and hard work of Libjo’s residents. Each product tells the compelling story of the community’s spirit.

The Otop.ph Store Libjo goes beyond selling products. It operates in conjunctio­n with the Negosyo Center Libjo, providing entreprene­urs with comprehens­ive support. This includes training programs, marketing assistance, and business developmen­t services. These services aim to nurture startups, expand their operations, and enhance their market competitiv­eness.
