LEVI JUNG RUIVIVAR RISING TO GYMNASTICS STARDOM AND WEAVING OLYMPIC DREAMS

LEVI Jung-Ruivivar, the 17-year-old gymnastics sensation, has captured the hearts of fans worldwide with her stellar performanc­e at the nal leg of the 2024 World Cup series of Artistic Gymnastics in Doha, Qatar.

Amidst thunderous applause from an adoring Filipino crowd, Ruivivar secured a silver medal in the women’s uneven bars, showcasing two groundbrea­king routines that earned her accolades from both judges and fans alike.

Her remarkable achievemen­t not only solidified her status as a rising star in the gymnastics world but also paved the way for her quali cation for the upcoming Olympics.

The journey to victory began for Ruivivar with her debut in the Cairo leg of the World Cup series last March, where she marked her presence with exceptiona­l talent and determinat­ion.

Over the course of the series, spanning from Cairo to Cottbus and Baku, Ruivivar’s performanc­es only continued to dazzle, culminatin­g in her nest showing yet at the Doha nale.

Guided by coach Ivan Goriatchki­ne, Ruivivar executed two unpreceden­ted routines during the finals, demonstrat­ing a level of skill and precision that left spectators in awe.

Her utilizatio­n of the Stalder full inbar move and the pak salto garnered widespread acclaim for their di culty and flawless execution, ultimately leading to her Olympic quali cation via the apparatus.
