Asian communications forum set for telco industry
THE Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), along with Axiata Group and Reliance Communications, has strategically partnered with TM Forum for the staging of the premier Asian communications conference dubbed “TM Forum’s Management World Asia 2012” on February 7 and 8, 2012 at the Pan Pacific Hotel at Marina Square in Singapore.
TM Forum has tapped the three leading service providers in the APAC Region in this annual conference, now on its fourth year, as it aims to focus on how service providers in APAC can address failing ARPU for voice; a growing gap between data services and revenues; network and service convergence; and strong competition and market saturation in some regions.
The annual conference likewise aims to bring together the senior executives and leaders from the global communications industry to explore how service providers can drive profits from growth.
Management World Asia 2012’s agenda covers an array of hot topics, including: delivering profitable content, services and apps; optimizing customer experience to drive business growth; enabling service innovation and diversifying revenue streams; developing best practices for effective business and IT operations; and cloud service provider’s models for Asia.
“Management World Asia 2012 raises awareness of what the future holds for the communications industry, not only in Asia but from a global perspective, as well,” Nik Willetts, senior vice president, Communications, TM Forum said.
