TP holds summer acting workshop
( CT2) Class Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a. m. to 12 p. m. ( CT1), 1 p. m. to 4 p. m. ( CT2)
Teen Theater ( 13 to 16 years old): An introduction to performance skills for young adults, the course integrates creative drama, music, writing, movement and visual arts to explore themes concerning the youth. Script analysis and voice for theater are likewise incorporated in the course; Facilitators: Mcdonnel Bolaños and Mia Bolaños; Class Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a. m. to 12 p. m.
Beginning Acting ( 17 years old and above): A practical application of the rudiments of acting including concentration, spontaneity, improvisation, confidence, body and voice preparation, characterization and script analysis to create a unique and authentic life on stage, TV and Film; Facilitator: Paolo Rodriguez; Co- Facilitator: Rayna Reyes; Class Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 6 p. m. to 10 p. m.
Each workshop culminates in a recital held at the Cultural Center of the PhilippinesTanghalang Huseng Batute. Students, who enroll in the Summer Theater Adventure, get the chance to be invited to audition or perform in the regular season plays and special shows produced by Tanghalang Pilipino. They also get the chance to be seen by talent scouts during the workshop recitals.
