A CONGRESSIONAL committee has called for a thorough investigation and possible prosecution of “some cases” in the intelligence dossier on “Government Officials with Leftist Leanings.” This came to light when The Manila Times obtained a copy of a House committee report on an inquiry last month into the list prepared by the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency.

November 20, 1947 Quezon City police arrest 3 men with loot
A SECURITY guard of Depot 3 at Quezon City, a taxi driver and a laborer, were apprehended with 18 stolen typewriters by Quezon City detectives headed by Doroteo Alandy and Victoriano Julio after a long chase that started from South 11th St. to Gilmore Ave. The security guard was Napoleon Maravilla, 22, of Pandacan, Manila. His companions were Francisco Lapid, 23, Wings taxi driver, and Salvador Acasio, 30, laborer of Tambo, Parañaque, Rizal.
