COACH EDWARD ‘DONG’ SANTOS VERGEIRE PASSES AWAY AT 47

COACH Edward “Dong” Santos Vergeire died of heart attack on September 20. He was 47. Vergeire served as national head coach of

the Philippine national basketball team for many times. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Vergeire and his three children, King Edward Ramon, Maria Celina, and Maria Cendrine.
