1,500+ jobs up for grabs at jobs fair

DAGUPAN CITY: Over 1,500 employment opportunit­ies both local and abroad will be offered at the mega jobs fair organized by the Department of Labor and Employment ( DOLE) – Central Pangasinan and the Dagupan City government starting on Saturday.

Panfilo Dioquino, labor and Central Pangasinan, said jobseekers may avail of these job openings from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m. at the CSI the City Mall atrium here.

Dioquino said the event aims to bring job opportunit­ies closer to Dagupeños as well as Pangasinen­ses in nearby towns seeking employment, especially fresh graduates aspiring to work locally or abroad.

“The jobs fair, which was sponsored by the help of the city government of Dagupan is open for all Dagupeños and all other applicants from nearby towns,” said Dioquino during the “Pantongton­gan Tayo” radio program of the Philippine Informatio­n Agency-Pangasinan recently.

Interested applicants are advised to bring with them copies of their complete requiremen­ts for them to have higher chances of landing a job.

Meanwhile, the jobs fair, which will be organized in cooperatio­n with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administra­tion, Philippine Overseas Employment Administra­tion, Social Security System, Philippine Health Insurance Corporatio­n, Home Developmen­t, Mutual Fund ( Pag- IBIG Fund), Bureau of Internal Revenue, Technical Education and Skills Developmen­t Authority and One-Stop Business Center in Dagupan City, will also provide pre-employment seminar for local applicants.
