53 schools joining UNIGAMES in Dumaguete City Oct. 23
DUMAGUETE CITY: A total of 53 schools from across the country will be taking part in the UNIGAMES to be staged in Dumaguete City from October 23 to 30, this year.
This was learned during a recent meeting of members of the Board of Directors of UNIGAMES with Dumaguete Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo to discuss the details of the 21st edition of the annual games, a statement on Monday.
Mayor Remollo has committed to host a fellowship dinner with school presidents and heads of the 53 delegations at his residence.
Among those who met with the mayor were Dumaguete City Sports Director Ike Villaflores, Stephen Fernandez of De la Salle University College of St. Benilde, Joaquin Boy Sarabia of the University of Mindanao, UNIGAMES president Roger A. Banzuela, Bro. Felipe Belleza, Chairman; Dr. Nelba Olaso, Naga College Foundation, Fidel Rojales, De la Salle University, Ryan Sabinan, Holy Angels University- Pampanga and Demosthenes Toledo of the University of San AgustinIloilo City.
Some of the 53 schools joining the UNIGAMES are: Ateneo De Davao University, Adamson University, Arellano University, Central Philippine University, Centro Escolar University, Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion, Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias, De la Salle- Araneta University and Silliman University.
