TGES meet new PEZA director general

TOYOTA Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP), together with the Toyota Group of Export Suppliers (TGES), welcomed the newly appointed Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Director General Charito Plaza (seated, center) during its recently held bi-annual meeting at the Shangri-la Hotel at The Fort in Taguig City.

Besides reporting their business performance, prospects and plans, members of the Toyota Group expressed their strong support to the new PEZA administration, assuring Toyota’s commitment to help the country achieve sustainable growth and progress. The Toyota Group earlier reported that its export sales in 2016 reached US$841 million. In response, Plaza reassured them of policy consistency and a “revolutionized” PEZA to further improve the - ship with the Government through the Comprehensive Automotive Resurgence Strategy (CARS) program.
